‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ Review:
Om Namo Venkatesaya is based on the story of Hathiram Bhavaji.
This is the journey of Ram (Nagarjuna) who begins searching for God from his childhood. He decides to leave family life to become Lord`s Devote. Ram opposes vested interests controlling Tirumala and brings changes giving respect to traditions. The Lord who is impressed by his devotion pays him a visit and the rest is about their relationship.
Anushka role is Pretty Good. Saurabh Raj Jain as the Lord is very convincing. Rao Ramesh, Vimala Raman, Asmitha, Sai Kumar, Sampath, Raghu Babu are fine. Jagapathi Babu and Pragya Jaiswal play good role.
Music: Very Good. All the Songs best path of Movie.
Editing: Good Enough.
Action: Obviously Over The Top, Good.
Writing : Okay.
Direction : Good
Two Decades after their Blockbuster success of `Annamayya`, another interesting tale of a Devotee of Lord Venkateswara.Om Namo Venkatesaya is based on the story of Hathiram Bhavaji. With little information available about Bhavaji, the writer had to fill most of the movie with informative episodes about history of Tirumala and Lord Venkateswara. Plus points of the film are Nagarjuna’s flawless work, music and pre-climax episode. On the flipside, we expect an interesting screenplay and dramatic impact for such kind of devotional films. We need to wait and see how it works at box office.
