Malayalam cinema has earned immense respect and appreciation not just across India, but globally. Known for content-driven storytelling, the Malayalam industry is now offering another heart-touching film — Sootravaakyam. It is being released worldwide in Malayalam on the 11th by Zineverse Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. The same company will also release the film in Telugu under the same title!

Why should only criminals and victims visit police stations? Why can’t police officers use their free time to teach children? Why should the culture of fearing the police continue? Sootravaakyam” is based on this powerful, revolutionary thought — combined with entertainment — and is set to become a memorable film in Indian cinema history.

Producers Lavanya Devi Kandregula and Srikanth Kandregula of Cinema Bandi fame express pride in producing such a meaningful story. Directed by talented newcomer Ujiyan Jass Chirammal, the film is produced under the Cinema Bandi Productions banner. The cast includes Shine Tom Chacko, Vinci Aloysius, Deepak Parambol, Meenakshi Madhavi, and Divya M. Nair, with producer Srikanth Kandrege himself also playing a key role.

With screenplay by Rejin S. Babu, cinematography by Sriram Chandrasekharan, music by Jean P. Johnson, and editing by Nithin K.T.R, this film brings a unique story that reimagines the purpose of police stations.

The film draws inspiration from real-life counseling programs initiated at the Vidur Police Station in Kerala during the COVID period, aimed at boosting youth morale and helping them rediscover their dreams and aspirations.

“Sootravaakyam” is set for release in 14 countries worldwide, apart from India marking it a truly global story!!
