Prominent Karate Master Lakshmi Samrajyam Honored with Nandi Award by TFCC Chairman Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud After TANA Felicitation

Karate master Lakshmi Samrajyam, who was recently honored by the Telugu Association of North America (TANA), received a grand felicitation from Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) Chairman Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud. The special ceremony featured popular actor Suman as the chief guest. Attendees included Swami Reddy, Gauri Shankar, Snigdha, Chandrakanth, and representatives from the Karate Association, as well as Yog Narayana, founder of Saksel Life Dubai, and Karate Master Ravi.

Speaking on the occasion, TFCC Chairman Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud said: “We are proud that Lakshmi garu was honored by TANA. Feeling that she deserved further recognition, we are presenting her with the prestigious Nandi Award on behalf of TFCC. Despite his busy shooting schedule, actor Suman garu kindly attended, and we thank him for his support. Many people were inspired by the martial arts and karate sequences in Suman garu’s films — some movies became hits purely because of his fights. He has great admiration for fighters in the industry. Lakshmi garu trained under Karate Master Ravi and has contributed significantly through her work with the SHE Teams. I extend my gratitude to all the representatives from the Karate Association who joined us today. We have requested the government for land for our TFCC office, and we’re hopeful of getting it soon. Once we do, we’ll allocate space for the Karate Association as well. There’s strong demand for karate fighters in the film industry. I encourage all those interested to explore opportunities in cinema. TFCC is always here to support you.”

Actor Suman said: “I sincerely thank Ramakrishna Goud garu for organizing this felicitation and presenting the Nandi Award to Lakshmi garu today. I’m glad to see Swami Reddy, Gauri Shankar, Snigdha, Chandrakanth, Yog Narayana, and Master Ravi attending. Lakshmi garu truly deserves the honor she received from TANA. As a woman, she worked extremely hard to master karate and continues to showcase her talent in martial arts. TANA is a prestigious association, and they thoroughly assess the merit of honorees. In my own life, learning martial arts has been invaluable. Even today, I’m physically and mentally strong because of it. Karate is not easy—it takes dedication and effort. If you want to enter the film industry, you need to learn stunts like glass breaking, jumping, water stunts, and more. I thank Ramakrishna Goud garu for issuing identity cards and supporting so many karate masters through TFCC.”

Karate Master Lakshmi Samrajyam said: “I am deeply grateful to Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud garu for honoring me with the Nandi Award today. While I was working with SHE Teams, he had already recognized my efforts with the Stree Shakti Award. When I informed my father about this Nandi Award, he emotionally said, ‘This was my dream, dear.’ Inspired by actor Suman garu’s films, I took up karate. Master Ravi trained me. I started teaching karate at a young age and was once paid just ₹10 a month. Now, I earn ₹10,000 an hour. But I’ve never prioritized money. I will never part with karate as long as I live. Karate brings you self-confidence. Whether it’s karate or any martial art — learn it. It can transform your life. I also thank the TANA organizers for their wonderful recognition.”
