“Sardar Sarvai Papanna” is an animation movie based on the life story of the historic warrior Sardar Sarvai Papanna, who earned the reputation of being a Bahujan Chakravarthi. The film has been written, directed and produced by Venkatesh Goud Lingampalli. The movie is presented by V.G. Movie Makers, with Deepak Nyathi overseeing the production. The animation movie is ready for a grand theatrical release on the 21st of this month through Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud’s RK Films. Today, the song from “Sardar Sarvai Papanna” was launched by former minister Srinivas Goud and former Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud.
Former Minister Srinivas Goud said: “Sardar Sarvai Papanna fought for the underprivileged and earned the title of Bahujan Chakravarthi. In those days, kingship was passed from the ruler to his heirs. Sardar Sarvai Papanna challenged such a royal system and proved that even an ordinary person could become a king. He conquered several forts and eventually challenged the mighty Golconda Fort as well. During our BRS government, we gave Sardar Sarvai Papanna the respect he deserved. We allocated a site on Tank Bund for installing his statue and celebrated his birth and death anniversaries on a grand scale. Inspired by Sardar Sarvai Papanna, we introduced several welfare schemes for the underprivileged. I congratulate Venkatesh Goud for bringing the history of such a great warrior to the screen. I also congratulate Pratani Ramakrishna Goud for releasing this film in both Telugu states. I hope audiences watch the movie and make it a grand success.”
