TFCC Chairman Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud extended his gratitude to the state government and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for grandly organizing the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards ceremony. Speaking at a press meet held at his office today, he said the Gaddar Awards event has infused fresh energy into the Telugu film industry.
Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud said: “The Telangana Gaddar Film Awards were conducted splendidly by the state government. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy dedicated several hours of their time to attend the event, for which I express my sincere thanks. These awards have brought new inspiration to the Telugu film industry. Every award recipient will now be further motivated to make even better films. I request that the Gaddar Awards be held every year without fail. FDC Chairman Dil Raju also put in significant efforts to make the event a success.”
“However,” he added, “it was disappointing that some of the award-winning actors did not attend the main event. It would have been better if they had joined. Some small mistakes did occur during the ceremony. Many notable personalities did not receive passes. For instance, senior filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja received his pass only at 9 PM. Within our TFCC, only one or two people got passes, though we have nearly a thousand producers in our association. None of them received passes. The inexperience of FDC Commissioner Harish was evident in the way the event was organized. He lacks even basic understanding of the film industry. Had there been better coordination, the event could have been even more successful.”
“There should also be proper representation for Telangana members in the Gaddar Awards jury. Despite a few small flaws, I am happy that the Gaddar Awards ceremony was conducted on such a grand scale,” he concluded.
