Film Critics Association Extends Birthday Wishes to Senior Director Gunasekhar

Senior filmmaker Gunasekhar received birthday greetings from the Film Critics Association on the occasion of his birthday.
In the current generation of Telugu cinema, Gunasekhar holds a unique distinction that few directors can claim. Throughout his career, he has never confined himself to a single genre, consistently exploring diverse styles of filmmaking and establishing a distinctive identity. Beginning his directorial journey with Laati, he has completed more than three decades in the industry and directed a total of 14 films. His filmography spans mythological, historical, and social dramas, making him one of the rare contemporary directors to have worked successfully across such a wide range of genres.
Rather than focusing on quantity, Gunasekhar has always emphasized quality, earning a special place in Tollywood as a filmmaker who values substance over numbers.
On the occasion of his birthday, members of the Film Critics Association met Gunasekhar and conveyed their heartfelt wishes.
The program was attended by Film Critics Association President Battula Prasada Rao, General Secretary Suresh Kondeti, Vice President Janardhan Reddy, Executive Committee Members Dheeraj Appaji, Chandu Ramesh, and Jilla Suresh.
Expressing his gratitude, Gunasekhar said he was delighted to receive birthday wishes from members of the Film Critics Association, an organization with a proud legacy spanning 58 years.
During the interaction, he also enquired about the well-being of senior members and journalists associated with the association, including Thotakura Raghu, Balireddy, Mohan Goteti, Uma Maheswara Rao, Trade Guide Venkateswara Rao, and other veteran journalists.
